Last week, I wrote about a Chicago Cubs fan passing his phone up the aisle to get a girls number and now, we have the update of all updates after a new video was released showing the two love birds together.

Let’s be clear: I know this is very TMZ/Barstool of me to write about this again but when you write some dumb article last week on a video that went viral and the post gets over 65,000 views, then you basically are forced to write the follow up, k? 

That, and the fact that I definitely speculated that this girls as married, how her husband was probably in shambles seeing the video on social media, and how if that wasn’t the case, then this was probably a complete setup to begin with. As it often happens when I’m just writing about god knows what on the website…

NONE OF THAT TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE. 

True love does actually exist. Who woulda thought? Tell that to my ex-girlfriend.

This girl posted a TikTok with her and the guy who got her number, confirming that they actually did hangout at some point after the Cubs game.

Honestly, I really deserve some credit here. Credit to me for opening up a new draft and getting back to work, admitting my faults, while absolutely hating writing about this type of content and STILL acknowledging these two making things happen after this guy pulled off one the best moves to get a girls number. 

I really do hate seeing people happy. These two are disgusting and everything about those videos above makes me want to throw up. Sorry. I’m happy for them I guess but not really.

The Taylor Swift song, the comment under the video, everything about it makes me sick to my stomach.

Do I still wish that she took the guys phone and launched it onto the field? Yes. 

Do I wish that the phone never made it to her and instead was tossed onto the field? Yes. Even better. 

I will say, our guy here deserves a little credit. He’s a beacon of hope for the rest of us.

I mean seriously, look at him in the latest video update. He’s sitting there, minding his own business while this girl films a video of them together. He has the same hat on from the Cubs game with some impressive lettuce hanging out the back, drinking an ice cold Miller Lite.

I literally do not care about their relationship.

I keep saying that because I know someone is going to comment and say that “you definitely care” but I really don’t.

They can both kick rocks for all care.

At the end of the day, I wanted this to end poorly from the beginning and unfortunately it didn’t. Now we’re all dealing with the consequences.
