Eagles’ viral logo redesign is just terrible

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably come across one of the viral NFL logo redesigns done by TikTok user Emily Morgan. Some fans were wondering when she’d get around to taking a crack at the Eagles logo.
She’s done logo redesigns for the Bears, Vikings and Jets, among others. People seem to get a kick out of ’em. Cleveland fans even voted her redesign as the most popular pick to become the official Dawg Pound logo.

So, what about her take on the Eagles Logo? It brings me no joy in saying this, but it’s the single worst logo I’ve ever seen in my life. I should note that I was prepared for it to stink once I heard how much Browns fans liked her work. Those people love mediocrity.
Now to be fair, the Philadelphia Eagles logo is absolutely iconic. Any attempt to top the screaming eagle swooping in for the kill was destined to fail. One look and you can see this redesign attempt fell flat on its face.

Just look at the dead, soulless eyes that have a cut-out of Pennsylvania in them for some reason. I guess Emily Morgan couldn’t think of anything notable about the birthplace of our nation and the home of the Rocky franchise to use as a regional easter egg in her design.
Obviously, the Eagles will never play with that Pokémon looking logo on their helmets. We’ll all be spared the sight of that grim, hollow-eyed bird at the 50-yard line, staring up at us all in the stands.
