Flyers Prospect Update: J.R Avon Scores OT Winner

J.R Avon scored the OT winner for the Peterborough Petes last night to send them to the Semifinals.
Avon was signed to an ELC on September 22nd, 2021 by former GM Chuck Fletcher. Because of Covid reasons, Avons’s contract slid to the OHL during that time.
He was a projected 3rd/4th round pick but since there was no OHL in 2020, Avon went undrafted.
Avon stands at 6’0, 185lbs and is considered to be a burner with solid hockey sense.
Kid can absolutely fly.
Avon had 29G-31A-60P in 59 games for the Peterborough Petes of the OHL this regular season.
He projects as a bottom-six player in the NHL. As I said previously said, he can fly, has some skill and is a ferocious forechecker.
Since his contract slid because of Covid, he might have 1 more year of Junior left because of it. Fact check me if you find out other wise, please.
