WATCH: Miami sports reporter Samantha Rivera delivers textbook stiff arm on a Vegas Golden Knights fan attempting to interrupt the broadcast following Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals

Samantha Rivera, a sports reporter for CBS in Miami, threw an incredible stiff arm last night on a Vegas Golden Knights fan trying to get on camera during a broadcast segment.
Rivera found herself trending on social media last night following Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers after a rowdy Vegas fan tried to disrupt the broadcast.
Rivera, wasn’t having it and delivered a textbook “Derrick Henry stiff arm” to the face of the fan.

Shoutout Samantha Rivera.
That is an incredible display of focus, strength, and technique as she made quick work of the Vegas Golden Knights fan trying to steal the show.
Side Note: Honestly, Danny Briere and Keith Jones should contact her about playing for the Flyers next season. It literally can’t get any worse in Philadelphia and at least she has some heart.
A quick “nope” and a solid stiff arm and just like that, the entire situation was handled with ease as she continued through her segment completely unfazed by the incident.
Then, Rivera hopped on Twitter to tell everyone that she doesn’t “give a damn” about what team you’re rooting for and to “get the hell out of [her] face when she’s working” and to “respect that she’s there to do her job”.
I absolutely love it. Also, you would think that this fan would just give it up after the first sign of contact but for whatever reason, this bozo kept trying to get in front of the camera. My guess, is that he wasn’t expecting Rivera to be dishing out stiff arms like she was Derrick Henry on the football field.
This is so much better than videos we have seen in the past where reporters awkwardly stumble through situations like this and try to make light of the situation.
Instead of dishing out a “oh there’s some unruly fans here back to the studio” or a “oh boy it looks like people were over served tonight ha ha ha” Rivera took matters into her own hands and handled it perfectly.
The Golden Knights dominated the Panthers in Game 2 to take a 2-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Finals. Game 3 will head back to Florida on Thursday night.
