Flyers Name Patrick Sharp Special Advisor to Hockey Ops

More changes to the front office are happening!
Just announced minutes ago, Patrick Sharp has been named special advisor to hockey operations.
Friend of the pod, Anthony Di Marco had it first.
He’ll report directly to Danny Briere and will oversee hockey operations and also be involved in players development.
According to Anthony Di Marco yet again, Sharp will be HEAVILY involved with the Flyers young players.
We’ve seen Sharp appear on NHL broadcast for the last five years or so. He’s been with NBC Sports and has been in the booth for Chicago Blackhawks games as well.
Sharp is a former Flyer (traded too soon as we all know) who won 3 Stanley Cups in his career. All with Chicago in 2010, 2013 and 2015.
Now. He’s a Flyer again.
It’s refreshing to see this front office get completely wiped off the face of the earth and redone. We were promised changed and we are certainly seeing it throughout the organization.
