WATCH: Stanford advances to Omaha after INSANE ending to Super Regional game against Texas

Game 3 between the University of Texas and Stanford University in the NCAA Baseball Super Regional advance to Omaha just ended in the most soul crushing way possible.
With the game tied 6-6 and a trip to the Omaha on the line, Stanford’s Alberto Rios thought he hit a no-doubt home walk-off home run. The Stanford bench even cleared in celebration thinking the game was over but the ball never actually left the ballpark and Rios barely reached second safely.
Walk Off Home Run for Stanford? Not so fast.
Just when you thought that was the craziest part to the game, with two men on and two outs, Texas got Stanford to pop up to shallow right-centerfield.
The pitcher pointed up in the air to indicate a routine fly ball to end to send the game into extra innings.Â
That didn’t happen.
No one on Texas had a clue where the baseball was and it landed in right center no where near a defender, giving Stanford a walk off victory and a trip to Omaha.Â

Bonkers.Â
As a Philadelphia and West Virginia University sports fan, we have dealt with our fair share of tragic losses so I can definitely imagine what Texas fans are going through right now.
Just a brutal end to the Texas baseball season as Stanford advances to Omaha.Â
