Eagles Buzz: Jake Elliott speaks on his future in Philadelphia

The Eagles Autism Foundation held a fundraiser in Sea Isle City on Wednesday, with Jason Kelce serving as guest bartender for the third consecutive year.
Other Eagles who appeared included Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Landon Dickerson, Dallas Goedert, and kicker Jake Elliott.
NBC Sports Philadelphia caught up with Elliott and asked him about his relationship with Philadelphia after being signed off the Bengals’ practice squad in 2017:
“I feel really engulfed in the community. I love it here, I love the city,” Elliott said. “My plan is to be here for a really long time and eventually call this home. I think it speaks volumes to that area that all these guys like [Brent] Celek — all these legends stay here, hang around after their careers, and that’s my plan right now.”

Since joining the Eagles, Elliott has been one of the NFL’s top placekickers, connecting on over 84% of his FG attempts while earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2021.
Elliott famously hit the game-winning 61-yard FG to defeat the Giants six years ago, one of many miraculous moments that led to Philly’s first Super Bowl title.
Elliott is entering the fourth year of his five-year, $19.3M extension he signed with Philadelphia in 2019.
