Bamba played with the Orlando Magic from 2018-23 before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers last February.
Drafted sixth overall in 2018, Bamba never really lived up to expectations after coming out of the University of Texas. He averaged just 7.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 68.6 percent from the free throw line over five seasons in Orlando.

Still, Bamba can provide the Sixers a blend of shot blocking, rebounds, and even three point shooting off the bench, as a back up for Joel Embiid. Over his career, he has averaged 2.7 blocks and 1.8 triples on nearly 36% shooting from beyond the arc per 36 minutes.
