Hall of Fame crybaby Deebo Samuel can no longer answer questions on statements he made about the Philadelphia Eagles, hangs up during interview on The Zach Gelb Show

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel suffered a serious case of PTSD during an interview on The Zach Gelb Show on CBS Sports Radio.
The troubled wide receiver who is absolutely obsessed with getting his ass kicked in the NFC Championship Game last season by the Philadelphia Eagles hung up on Gelb after the game was brought up.
Samuel, who spent almost the entirety of 2023 complaining about the NFC Championship Game, a game that the 49ers lost 31-7, apparently no longer can handle the conversation.
49ers WR Deebo Samuel hangs up during interview on The Zach Gelb Show
While it would appear to be a good thing that he stopped being a complete baby about it, I do have some concerns that he has gone too soft, past the point of actually being tough, hardheaded NFL football player.
Maybe that’s what happens when you’re playing for a team based in San Francisco, California but it’s not really something we are familiar with here in Philadelphia.
So, is the pity party finally over?
The San Francisco 49ers have been throwing a legendary temper tantrum since Eagles took their souls in the NFC Championship Game to advance to the Super Bowl but now, it looks like Deebo is ready to waive the white flag.
Let’s recap how we got to Deebo Samuel’s breaking point.
The overconfident 49ers and Deebo Samuel specifically really started the conversation by saying the following leading up to the game saying that the Linc wouldn’t be “as loud” as the 49ers stadium.
“We know it’s going to be loud, but no stadium is as loud as ours at the end of the day,” Samuel said on Wednesday. “They’re at home, NFC Championship. They’re going to be all riled up. We don’t really too much feed into all that because we put the pads on and just go to work.”
That prompted Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce to respond to Deebo Samuel’s comments.
“I’ve been telling a lot of the guys, if you think the stadium was loud last weekend, wait ’til Sunday.” – Fletcher Cox.
“I don’t think I need to tell [the fans] anything. The Eagles’ environment at home is second to none. It’s not just the noise, it’s the attitude. It’s the emotion that’s coming out of the yelling, that players feel. And it’s different than other places.” – Jason Kelce
Deebo Samuel called CB James Bradberry “trash” even though the Eagles corner received All-Pro honors last season. He essentially said the entire Eagles defense was trash as well, along with a lot of the same stuff he said during this Complex interview.
Back to Deebo, he kept complaining months after the game. Back in May, Deebo said the result of the game would have “100% been different” if Brock Purdy was able to remain in the game.
“100 percent. I ain’t going to keep going on about what could’ve happened and what would’ve happened but yeah, it would’ve definitely been a different outcome.”
When asked about who his most hated team is right now, Deebo said, you guessed it, the Eagles.
“All the trash talk coming from the Eagles fan base and the players, you just get tired of that,” Deebo Samuel said. This came after the Pro Bowl wideout told his interviewer that he didn’t listen to the outside noise. “How we move as a team, we don’t even pay attention to the noise,” Samuel proclaimed (except for when it’s Eagles players and fans talking, then the Niners are suddenly all ears).
Mental Health is a serious issue, folks.
The game wasn’t even close and for whatever reason, the 49ers somehow convinced themselves that if Brock Purdy didn’t get hurt, they would have actually won the game that again, they lost 31-7.
Deebo wasn’t the only one. In the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl, players from WR Brandon Aiyuk to KICKER Robbie Gould discredited the Philadelphia win.
It was honestly pathetic to even watch unfold.
It was so bad, George Kittle even stated that he wouldn’t even be watching the Super Bowl because he was too deep in his feelings.
There were a million headlines following the NFC Championship featuring the 40-Whiners crying about the result of the game. One of my personal favorites was from WR Brandon Aiyuk saying the Philadelphia Eagles got “extremely lucky” due to some “unfortunate circumstances”.
Honestly, at this point I feel bad for little Deebo Samuel
The Philadelphia Eagles own him. We are all he thinks about throughout the day and the latest development shows that he can’t even handle being asked about his own comments he made about the game and the Eagles without throwing a hissy fit like a child still in grade school.
Oh, and he DEFINITELY knew what week the 49ers were going to play the Eagles. Nice try buddy.
