“It’s really no surprise to me the success that Jalen’s having right now and just wish him the best moving forward,” Pederson told John Clark of NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com on an episode of The Takeoff podcast. “But the things that impressed me the most are probably the things you see off the football field.
The leadership ability, his work ethic, the way he approaches the game, the way he studies the game, the way he wants to be coached — he wants to be coached hard. The things that sometimes the fans don’t see. They obviously see the end product on the football field. And he’s a tremendous kid and tremendous talent.
In the previous season, Jalen Hurts delivered an exceptional performance that had him in the second-place spot in the MVP voting, trailing only Patrick Mahomes. Demonstrating remarkable improvements in accuracy, Hurts completed 66.5% of his passes and threw for 3,701 yards through the air.
Jalen Hurts’ ascendence to success in the NFL is a testament to his hard work, resilience, and unyielding self-belief. Doug Pederson played an essential role in nurturing Jalen’s talent and fostering an environment for him to thrive.
As Hurts continues his career, the story of his ascent stands as a reminder that with perseverance and the proper guidance, dreams can be turned into reality. The future looks promising for the young quarterback and the Eagles organization as a whole.
