Kelly, 33, was originally drafted by the Eagles in 2012 and started 15 games for them across his first three seasons. In 2016, Philadelphia traded Kelly to the Titans for former second-round pick Dorial Green-Beckham. We all remember how that turned out.

The Eagles have always valued versatility with their reserve linemen and Kelly provides just that, having played at both tackle spots in his career.

Dennis Kelly snaps over the last four seasons:

  • 2022: LT (240)
  • 2021: RT (305)
  • 2020: RT (1,049)
  • 2019: LT (352)

With Andre Dillard leaving in free agency, the Eagles lacked depth behind starting LT Jordan Mailata. Kelly’s familiarity with Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Jeff Stoutland gives them a solid backup when needed.

Kelly started three games for the Colts in 2022, allowing zero sacks in 240 offensive snaps.
