WATCH: Shark swims along shoreline in Miami Beach Florida, blocking people from swimming back to safety

In a bizarre video posted on social media, a shark was filmed swimming next to people near the shoreline in Miami Beach, Florida.
The video below shows what appeared to be a bullshark swimming along the shoreline as people in the ocean were caught out at sea, with no way to reach safety back on the beach.

Note: A lot of comments say that it’s a hammerhead shark and not a bullshark. I have no clue.
So yeah, we have a shark literally swimming between a bunch of people in the ocean and the beach.
Now what? What’s the move here if you’re in the ocean?
I’m no expert but I’m going to have to go with not moving at all and staying as still and as calm as possible while praying this shark figures shit out and heads back out into the deep blue sea, right?
I feel like if you start swimming and making loud noises or look like a distressed fish while trying to get back to the beach, that shark is going to look at you as either a threat or food.
Interestingly enough, throughout the entire video there really was only one “GET OUT” scream from the beach. In movies, we see that happening all of the time and typically have everyone losing their damn minds on shore while people in the ocean are doing everything possible to swim to safety.
That didn’t happen in this video.
Maybe people were stunned or really, didn’t know what the hell do, but it appeared to be the right move regardless, with no other reports of swimmers being harmed or attacked by the shark.
This does happen at an interesting time in Florida. Earlier this week, I wrote an article about the Cocaine Sharks who are apparently feasting on drug smugglers’ lost bundles of cocaine offshore.
Cocaine Sharks rumored off the coast of Florida
The University of Florida is now attempting to study the behavior of these Cocaine Sharks and you would have to think one of this size swimming so close to shore would be atop of their list.
You have a shark trying to socialize, too close for comfort, with a bunch of people swimming in the ocean when no one wants it to be there.
That definitely sounds like someone who just did a bunch of cocaine right?
Anyways, lots of erratic behavior lately from the ocean. Be safe out there.
