76ers Embarrassment Tour: Embiid, Tucker take to social media following Harden’s comments on Morey

The Philadelphia 76ers have firmly cemented themselves as the laughing stock of the National Basketball Association.
It’s been quite the ride over the past few months. The 76ers choked away a very winnable series against Boston, fired Doc Rivers, hired Nick Nurse, proceeded to sign five backup centers, brought in Pat Beverley for shits and gigs, and of course, are dealing with the full wrath of a disgruntled, and also very fat, James Harden.
At this point, it’s become somewhat impressive. And it just keeps getting worse.
The defining moment of this offseason occurred in the early hours of Monday morning. As we all woke up for our morning commutes, we were greeted with a video of Harden telling a bunch of Chinese children at a basketball camp that his boss is a big fat liar.
You really can’t make this shit up.

That video, of course, went viral almost immediately.
It was only a matter of time before some of Harden’s 76ers teammates started chiming in on the whole situation.
Let’s start with Joel Embiid, who didn’t exactly talk about the Harden-Morey beef. Instead, he just decided, for no reason in particular, to remove Philadelphia from his Twitter bio.
Before Harden complained about his boss to a bunch of Chinese kids:

After Harden told kids who don’t even speak english that the 76ers GM is a liar:

I know it’s easy to just write this off as nothing. And maybe that’s the case. But Embiid is keenly aware of how he handles his social media accounts.
To me, this doesn’t feel like nothing.
Then we have PJ Tucker, Harden’s Trojan Horse in the Sixers organization.
The 38-year-old wing posted a picture of him and Harden following the comments made Monday, essentially stating his alliance with fat boy.
Via PJ Tucker’s Instagram:

Whatever, I guess.
As this offseason has unfolded, it’s become harder and harder to care about the 76ers. For the sake of my mental well-being, I cannot subject myself to this clown show any further. Everyone involved in this should be held accountable, and I mean everyone.
Disband the team. Sell our rights to China or some shit. I don’t know, just do something to make this misery stop.
The only way I can even rationalize any of this is by reminding myself that this is not how normal humans operate. Normal people don’t tell a bunch of Chinese children that their boss is a liar, and they certainly don’t say it a second time to really drive home the point. It’s pathetic and an unquestionable low point for a franchise that’s no stranger to being mocked and laughed at.
We still have two months to go before the 76ers have to report for training camp. Plenty of time for this team to continue embarrasing themselves.
