James Bradberry left Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots after colliding with a teammate, landing him in concussion protocol. The chances of Bradberry clearing protocol by Thursday are slim, which means second-year corner Josh Jobe will likely start in his place.
Kenneth Gainwell could potentially be a game-time decision as he deals with a rib injury. If the presumed lead back can’t go, D’Andre Swift and Rashaad Penny could see increased workloads. Penny was a healthy scratch in Week 1.
Starting safety, Reed Blankenship was also listed as a non-participant. Blankenship played 78 snaps and recorded a team-high 12 tackles on Sunday.
LB Nakobe Dean was placed on IR earlier today after suffering a foot injury, so he’ll miss at least the next four games. The Eagles benefitted from favorable injury luck last season; that doesn’t appear to be the case in 2023.
