WATCH: NFL on Fox posts old video of Vikings fan filming her walk into Lincoln Financial Field following this year’s Thursday Night Football matchup

The NFL on Fox officially Facebook page posted a video that was taken by a Minnesota Vikings fan as she walked into Lincoln Financial Field ahead of what appeared to be the NFC Championship Game from years ago.
The fact that the video was old and still either knowingly or unknowingly shared by the NFL on Fox social team following the Eagles matchup against the Vikings on Thursday Night Football is nasty stuff. The purpose was clear, to belittle Eagles fans and capitalize on engagement following this year’s game.

Regardless, the reaction from Eagles fans back then wasn’t exactly “polite” and I doubt it would be if this video was actually from this season either. But as planned, it served our Philly sports fandom up on a silver platter for the media and opposing fanbases to criticize us while busting out the same, drawn out false narratives about our city and fanbases.

Question: What exactly happened to this Vikings fan on her walk into the Eagles stadium?
Look, I get it. There’s a bunch of what appears to be underage dudes booing and flipping off these Vikings fans as they walk into the stadium, which is pretty weird behavior to begin with, obviously. I don’t even know where these kids come from?
Over the years in F2, we have constantly had ourselves fantastic day of tailgating on game days. That includes opposing fanbases. On Thursday, we were boozing with Eagles and Vikings fans alike. The majority of fans tailgating all day are more like this guy shown below than a bunch of drunk teenagers.
Note: The helmet was clearly the right idea for this guy.
All of these teenagers just line up along this walk and boo opposing fanbases when they are walking into The Linc. They still do it today. It happened in the NFC Championship Game against the 49ers and sent those loser radio hosts from the Bay Area into shambles. Regardless, the opposing fans and hell, even the Eagles fans participating look more like crisis actors than an actual representation of the game day experience in South Philadelphia.
The Eagles fans videoed here clearly had the intention of booing Vikings fans. There’s really no other reason be posted up at that location otherwise. Mix in a few camera phones and they’re going to make a show of it guaranteed.
There’s a very fine line that needs to be traveled when talking about anything to do with the Philly sports fan narrative and opposing fanbases attending Eagles games in South Philly. I don’t really see any harm being caused outside of a few idiots getting in the fans personal space. The vulgar language and flipping them off could be excessive, but it’s still nothing completely shocking.
Also, it’s important to note again that this fan had her camera out and filming these kids, which only served as more reason for them to “put on a show” and act even more ridiculous. Fans, more specifically drunk teenagers are obviously going to take their moment to shine on camera and reign boos and a few curse words at an opposing fanbase, even more so when those fans are Minnesota Vikings fans.
Vikings fans should worry about their own fanbase and how they treat their players
Maybe it’s just me, but a good rule of thumb is not to be racist scumbags and then hop online and complain that other fanbases were booing you while attending an away game. After Thursday’s game, here’s how they treated one of their own.
This is truly disgusting and shameful.

After the #Eagles game, #Vikings RB Alexander Mattison was called the N-word, was told he should commit suicide and was told a number of other racist terms in his DMs by "fans", he shared on Instagram.

Overall, this is just nasty stuff posting it online. The “NFL on Fox” account knew what would happen went posting a video like this. There are over 16,000 comments of people on Facebook trashing the Eagles and our fanbase. Mission accomplished.
