Eagles Final Week 7 Injury Report: Several starters good to go, Reed Blankenship ruled out

The Eagles have released their final injury report ahead of Sunday night’s matchup vs. Miami.

Following Friday’s practice, there are no game statuses for starters Lane Johnson, Jalen Carter, Darius Slay, Sydney Brown, or DeVonta Smith. Reed Blankenship and Bradley Roby have been ruled out for Week 7.

Carter and Slay return to the lineup after missing last week’s game against the Jets. Lane Johnson suffered a Grade 1 ankle sprain during the opening drive last Sunday and was somehow a full practice participant.

The offense will be particularly happy to have Johnson back, considering his replacement, Jack Driscoll, was thrown into the fire and gave up a team-high eight pressures once Johnson exited.

Sydney Brown will suit up for the first time since Week 2 and is slated to start in place of Reed Blankenship. DeVonta Smith appeared on Wednesday’s injury report with a hamstring injury but made it clear he’ll be available on Sunday. Players would rather die on the field than miss Kelly Green week.

For Miami, two-time All-Pro CB Xavien Howard is questionable with a groin injury.
