AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith attempted to recreate one of the most iconic photos in sports history during the Philadelphia Eagles 28-23 victory against the Dallas Cowboys.
Brown caught a four-yard touchdown reception late in the third quarter to extend the Eagles lead to 28-17. He then joined Smitty in the end zone for an alley-oop touchdown celly mimicking the now legendary LeBron James and Dwayne Wade photo when they played together in Miami.
Not too bad. The pass could have been better, obviously.
Brown didn’t even complete the dunk but after a game like that, we’re not going to get hung up on specifics. Plus, Brown caught seven passes for 66 yards and a touchdown while Smith had three receptions and a touchdown in the Eagles victory.
Philadelphia is now 8-1 on the season and will have a BYE next week before heading to Kansas City to play the Chiefs on Monday Night Football the following week.
