Cam Jurgens and Bradley Roby were full participants today after missing several weeks; both players are trending toward being available this week. After having his 21-day practice window activated, safety Justin Evans returned in a limited capacity.
The bye week also proved beneficial to QB Jalen Hurts. During a post-practice presser, Hurts acknowledged that he’s no longer wearing the brace on his left knee, indicating a recovery from his lingering bone bruise.
“I was not [wearing the sleeve],” Hurts said via video from the team. “I think time is a sign of progress. The bye week came at a great time. We all took advantage of that or tried to take advantage of that time off. Everything is trending forward.”
The co-MVP favorite has maintained stellar play despite his injury, but Philly’s rushing game was clearly hampered without the element of Hurts. Now that QB1 is back at 100%, or close to it, expect the offense to return to form.
At 8-1, the Eagles sit atop the NFC and enter the toughest stretch of their season — starting with a Super Bowl rematch on Monday night.
