Sicko Bradley Cooper would take a Super Bowl win over an Oscar in 2024
Actor and self-proclaimed sicko Eagles fan Bradley Cooper is gunning for an Oscar this year with his Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro. During his press tour to promote the film, he joined Howard Stern’s program, where the host asked if he’d rather win an Oscar or see the Eagles win another Super Bowl.
Bradley Cooper didn’t hesitate when Stern asked the question:
You heard him, folks. He’s a sick, sick man who needs an Eagles Super Bowl win just as much as the rest of us.
I was discussing the varying degrees of sickness that the Eagles inflict on area residents with the brother of an old flame (I had an interesting Thanksgiving weekend), and he summed it up perfectly. “Growing up here, you’re either a psycho, or you don’t watch sports at all. There is no in-between.”
When it comes to Bradley Cooper, it’s pretty clear where he falls on that spectrum. Well, in this instance, there is no spectrum; it’s a binary system. Philadelphians are either ones or zeros, and he’s a one all the way.
In all honesty, most Eagles fans would give up a lot more for a Super Bowl than an Oscar, so I might have to sit down with Cooper and see exactly where he stands. I wonder where he would draw the line, but if he’s as sick as he says he is, that interview might go on for a while.
Maestro is clearly Bradley Cooper’s frantic attempt at an Oscar, though, so it means more to him than just a normal film. He’s been nominated a few times without a win. Combine that with the fact that he’s playing a renowned composer in a black-and-white film, and it absolutely reeks of pandering to the Academy (that will absolutely work, by the way).
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the movie he’s putting together or, more specifically, how it was initially received. When the first promotional materials came out, people on social media had some strong words for our guy Coop.
It was definitely heard of anybody being accused of “Jewface” until the trailer for this film was released. Feel free to take a look for yourself, but Bradley Cooper is rocking one hell of a fake schnoz for this role.

As the Arbiter of Truth and Justice here at The Liberty Line, I see both sides. However, as a sicko Eagles fan, I ride or die with Bradley Cooper.
That’s just the way it has to be. I don’t make the rules.
