Projected No. 1 overall pick sounds off on NFL’s plan to ban Eagles’ ‘Tush Push’
Before Sunday’s matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers, it was reported that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wants to permanently ban the infamous ‘Tush Push‘ play, citing its ‘bad optics.’
The report was met with mixed feelings, but the majority of fans and NFL media pundits scrutinized the idea of banning the ‘Tush Push,’ and rightfully so. Among them was USC star quarterback Caleb Williams, who took to social media to call the NFL’s plan to ban the ‘Tush Push’ soft.

Regardless of whether you think the reasoning behind potentially banning the play is justified, Goodell can really do whatever he wants here. He doesn’t need to give any legitimate reason, he’s the commissioner of the league.
But let’s not lie to ourselves with this whole ‘bad optics’ angle the NFL seems to be taking. Fans and media members alike have come around on the play because it’s been proven time and time again this season that the Eagles are just really good at it. It’s not some unstoppable play that will break the sport as we know it. Philly just knows how to do it very, very effectively.
Caleb Williams is absolutely right to call out the NFL for what they’re trying to do. He may end up being a future New York Giant, but for now, he’s alright in my book.

Seth is not lying!
He has nothing real to do!

So… Does the commissioner want to ban ANY play that one team does better than another?
Where does that wacky concept stop?
For example, the Eagles kicker can hit field goals from well outside 50 yards. If other teams don’t have a kicker who can do that, should we ban that play too?…not allow field goal tries from outside of certain distance? How ridiculous!
Or…
If you have a receiver that’s the fastest man in the game who can therefore outrun a Defender, should you not allow the quarterback to throw to him?
A pretty crazy, BS idea from the commissioner IMHO… 😡
