Cowboys owner Jerry Jones loves watching the Eagles completely fall apart
While I’m certainly not in the mood to defend the Philadelphia Eagles right now, whenever Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones opens his mouth to talk about the Birds, I have no choice but to respond.
Following the Eagles miserable performance against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night, Jones went on local Dallas station 105.3 The Fan to bask in the glory of the Eagles’ downfall.
The Cowboys owner on the Eagles loss to Seattle:
“It was marvelous,” Jones said. “I watched every bit of it. I thought I was about to doze, and then when [Seattle] made those two exciting plays at the end I couldn’t sleep until 4 this morning because of the impact that it can have on our year.”

One team’s demise is another’s victory, I suppose. But in reality, the Cowboys have their own issues to worry about after getting throttled by the Buffalo Bills this past Sunday. They lost 31-10 in a game that was never even close. Plus, they have the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL, traveling to Miami next week, coming back home to face the Detroit Lions the week after that, before closing the season out against Washington.
We have no room to talk shit as Eagles fans at the moment, but with the Cowboys loss on Sunday, Philadelphia still has a real shot at winning the division and hosting at least one playoff game.
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles will host Tommy DeVito at The Linc Christmas day. If there’s a God, he won’t allow the Eagles to lose their fourth straight game – to the Giants no less.
