Disgusting Behavior: Temple University quarterback EJ Warner leaves Philly…to head to Rice University

Following the conclusion of yet another disappointing year for Temple Football, quarterback EJ Warner announced that he would be entering the transfer portal in search of greener pastures.

Today, we finally got news on where the now former Temple quarterback will continue his college career.

What a joke. Honestly, I don’t even feel bad for Temple anymore. They are just a poverty college sports program and deserve zero respect from anyone. Year after year, they stink up Lincoln Financial Field, pretend they have “good players” coming next season to resurrect their program, and then produce the same exact result. Around and around we go. It’s honestly pathetic.

As for rat boy EJ Warner, you’re even more of a joke. For whatever reason, someone clearly poisoned this dudes brain into thinking that he would get better offers in the portal but apparently not a single “Power 5” school or literally any reputable football program came knocking.

Instead, it’s a lateral move to another loser school in the AAC. Go figure.

At this point, Temple University should just cancel the entire football program. Again, how in the hell does EJ Warner enter the transfer portal and remain in the AAC, heading to another disaster-class football program like Rice? How can Temple University continue to be embarrassed this badly?

Rice went 4-4 in the AAC last season and finished with a 6-6 record overall which was good for 6th place in the conference. Temple finished 1-7 in the AAC and 3-9 overall, which was good for second-to-last place in the conference, ahead of only East Carolina University.

Rice University is located in Houston, Texas which I guess is closer to where Warner played high school football in Phoenix, Arizona? Outside of that, we’re simply talking a lateral move and the next player to ditch Temple University.  

But hey! Hold on a damn minute! Temple is a BASKETBALL SCHOOL. Right…?! Right…?!
