Eagles Buccaneers Wild Card Weekend

Philadelphia Eagles enter Wild Card Weekend as slight favorites on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football for the NFL Wild Card Weekend slate and will enter the game as slight favorites on the road.

The Eagles will enter Wild Card Weekend as slight favorites over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who managed to win the worst division in football to clinch a home game in the playoffs. Last night, they were favored by 2.5 points over the Bucs and as of this morning, that number has now dropped to 1.5 point favorites.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a bad football team

The Buccaneers stink. They have three wins over teams with winning records in the Packers, Jags, and Saints, all of which finished the season at 9-8. The other six wins came against teams with losing records in the Vikings (7-10), Bears (7-10), Titans (6-11), Panthers x2 (2-15), and Falcons (7-10).

The Philadelphia Eagles are a bad football team too

While the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t completely dead yet, they continue to battle through one of the slowest “crash and burns” in the history of the NFL, losing five out of their last six games while squandering any opportunity to win the NFC East and the No. 1 and 2 seed in the playoffs.

How anyone could be confident in the Eagles winning football games at this point is beyond me.
