Nick Sirianni sends message to Eagles fans by wearing Super Bowl visor during press conference
Do me a favor, Eagles fans; take a massive deep breath before reading this.
I promise you everything is going to be alright.
The Philadelphia Eagles have a playoff game Monday night, and the entire fanbase already has their eyes on the offseason.
A good portion of the fanbase is calling for head coach Nick Sirianni to be fired, which is certainly interesting considering he has a 34-17 record as the head coach and one Super Bowl appearance thus far.

So, what message is Sirianni sending? This was done on purpose and was not done by accident whatsoever. Sirianni was doing two things; one, he was trying to remind himself what was accomplished, and honestly, it’s not a bad idea because there is nothing but bad vibes around this team right now.
The second thing is he’s attempting to remind everyone else that he was the head coach of a team that made the Super Bowl in just the second year of his tenure.
For the record, I love this move by the coach. This is 100% something I would do to a bunch of ungrateful fans and people in the media trying to put dirt on my name. Now, before you get all emotional and try to discredit him for anything that’s happened this season, remember that Howie Roseman and Jeffery Lurie approved both of these awful coordinators we’ve had this season. A coach is only as good as his coordinators.
With that said, if he has lost the locker room, I’ll understand why management decides to part ways with him after the season. However, there is a good chance that hasn’t happened, and he will be back. This is good news because you want to avoid becoming a carousel of coaches.
