Senior Bowl 2024: Three prospects Eagles should have on their radar
As practices get underway for the Senior Bowl between the National and American teams, 120-plus players look for one more opportunity to prove themselves to an NFL team.
It’s a three-day boot camp of individual drills and scrimmages culminating in the 75th-anniversary game on Saturday in Mobile, Alabama. With the field getting prepped for tomorrow’s same routine, let’s look at some players who stood out on Day One of practice.
CB Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo (6-0, 196 lbs)
With his impressive size, top-notch ball skills, and tenacity against the run, Quinyon Mitchell is quickly pushing his draft stock to the moon. His ability to make game-changing plays, agility, and quick twitch muscles make him an electrifying player to watch fly around the field as he preps for the Senior Bowl. The Toledo product finished second in college football with 14 pass breakups and 17 forced incompletions. During the 2022 season, Mitchell tallied four interceptions against Northern Illinois, including two for touchdowns. He would have had the 2nd most catches on NIU in that game.
His skill set is tailor-made for the demands of the Eagles’ new defensive coordinator, Vic Fangio. Quinyon Mitchell excels in a zone scheme where he can showcase his prowess in off-coverage and effectively read developing routes. As he continues to hone his talents, Mitchell has the potential to make an immediate impact as a starter in the NFL, and it seems like he could potentially become a late first-round or early second-round pick.

WR Roman Wilson, Michigan (6-0, 192 lbs)
Roman Wilson presents an intriguing prospect for the Eagles in the 2024 NFL Draft. Wilson’s elite athleticism is evident from his impressive 40-yard dash time of 4.37 seconds and a 37″ vertical jump clocked as a four-star recruit in high school. His speed and agility make him a potent threat downfield, allowing him to separate from defenders and create big-play opportunities as he did on multiple reps at Senior Bowl practice.
Wilson’s 2023 season saw him amass 107 receptions for 1,707 yards, averaging 16.0 yards per catch. That production level demonstrates his ability to be a reliable yet explosive target in the passing game. Additionally, his superior speed and quickness make him a deep threat and enable him to excel in creating yards after the catch. Providing Jalen Hurts with another versatile weapon in the passing game can only improve this offense that’s struggled to find a slot receiver. With the proper development and utilization, Wilson has the potential to make an immediate impact for the Eagles as a rookie.

DL Darius Robinson, Missouri (6-5, 296 lbs)
Darius Robinson, a versatile defensive lineman from Missouri, defines what Howie Roseman looks for in the draft. Standing 6’5″ and weighing a dense 291 pounds, Robinson combines size and athleticism to beat most linemen across from him on Day One in Mobile. His ability and willingness to play multiple positions, including 3-tech, 4i-tech, 5-tech, and 6-tech, make him a valuable asset for any defensive scheme. He also finished fourth in the SEC with 8.5 sacks in 2023.
The Mizzou lineman’s experience as both an interior lineman and edge rusher makes him a dynamic player to defend, capable of creating pressure on opposing quarterbacks and disrupting running plays from anywhere. With his size, strength, and ability to move across the line for Vic Fangio’s defense, Robinson presents a promising prospect for the Eagles in April’s draft.
