76ers fined $75K for leaving Joel Embiid off injury report ahead of Denver Nuggets matchup last Saturday
Shocker: The NBA has finally issued a fine to the Philadelphia 76ers for leaving Joel Embiid off the injury report ahead of their game against the Denver Nuggets.
The fine is not in relation to the “player participation policy” because, well, Joel Embiid was actually hurt. The league did however, fine the 76ers for not including him on the team’s injury report.

Listen, I’m not going back into the whole situation. You can read the multiple posts we’ve written about it right here. At the end of the day, the NBA is a total mess anyways.
I have zero clue on what they want Joel Embiid or really any star player to do when they are injured. Embiid tried to go through warmups and couldn’t play so the Sixers ruled him out against the Nuggets.
He didn’t play against the Portland Trail Blazers and the following night, foolishly played against the Golden State Warriors – a game in which he hurt himself even more severely and is now on his way back to Philadelphia to get an MRI and further testing done to figure out how long he’ll be out.
I feel like I’m going crazy.
They Hate the Process. The NBA Deep State is Real.
