WATCH: Doc Rivers admits he has no idea why Milwaukee hired him to be their head coach

The Doc Rivers-Milwaukee Bucks marriage hasn’t gotten off to a great start. All things considered, it’s been a complete train wreck since he arrived.

Doc’s made excuses at every turn, which is to be expected. Even our old pal JJ Reddick called him out on his bullshit.

Now, he’s openly questioning why the Bucks even hired him in the first place.

Doc Rivers admits he was a bit confused when Milwaukee called him

“I’ll be honest, I told our owners, ‘I don’t understand why you’re doing this,'” Rivers says. “And one of the things they said was, ‘Well, it doesn’t matter, we’ve done it now, and we want you. So that was a tough one. That’s where you had the hesitation.”

We’re only 10 games into the Doc Rivers’ era in Milwaukee and we’ve already reached this point. It’s actually impressive how quickly the Bucks season has gone to shit.

It’s also pretty hilarious how Doc is just openly saying this kind of stuff. Questioning owners he barely knows, acting like he had serious hesitation taking the job, and more importantly, the paycheck the Bucks were offering him.

Milwaukee’s cooked. They’re a dead team walking as long as this guy is on their sideline.
