Craig Carton doubles down on Eagles report, blames Nick Sirianni as root cause of last season’s issues

FS1 host and known rat Craig Carton claimed to have inside information on the Eagles’ late-season collapse the other day, drawing the ire of fans and player alike. In typical rat fashion, he doubled down on Twitter yesterday, stating that he will have more to share on his show this morning.

Craig Carton certainly had more to say today, but it was unsurprisingly useless:

In the words of our own Victor Williams, “This Carton dude is the epitome of trying (and failing) to strike while the iron is hot.” And yeah, he’s 100% right.

If you didn’t watch the clip, that was the smart move. I had to for this blog, and thought maybe, just maybe, there’d be a shred of insight or reporting. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

He went live with this info only after reports of Big Dom’s absence affecting Sirianni’s sideline manner were already put out. Plus, Schefter said those claims were bullshit, but I don’t know how much I trust him either.

Even if it is all true, Craig Carton is only clown here. Plus, I see no issue with Nick Sirianni needing a fellow Italian American on the sidelines to help him regulate his emotions.

Big Dom is Nick’s Wartime Consigliere. Fortunately, we have Fangio joining them on the sidelines, which should have the team working more in sync

That’s not to say we need an all-Paisan coaching staff. Even just a few guys hanging out in track suits telling bad jokes. If Nick is Tony Soprano and Dom is Sylvio, we need a Paulie Walnuts to bring the full operation together.

My incoherent ramblings aside, Craig Carton is a dirty, no good rat.
