Alarming Report: Jets players believe WR Mecole Hardman leaked game plans to Eagles, Chiefs
Members of the New York Jets are insinuating that Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman could be responsible for leaking the team’s playbook to opponents.
This controversy began when Hardman criticized the culture of the Jets, asserting that they lacked a winning mentality and discipline.
Mecole Hardman leaked gameplan to Eagles, Chiefs
Yes, I’m told there was validated belief from the #Jets that WR Mecole Hardman, frustrated by his lack-of usage, leaked game plans to the opposition, as implied by several players (Sauce Gardner, Kenny Yeboah) today.

It’s crucial to understand what Connor Hughes is actually saying here. He mentioned a “validated belief” regarding Hardman potentially leaking game plans to the Chiefs and Eagles, but he did not confirm that it definitively occurred.
The report lacks any comment or response from either the Jets or Hardman, which would seem necessary given the circumstances.
If, indeed, Hardman was responsible for leaking the game plans, its impact might not have been very significant. The Jets went on to beat the Eagles and nearly beat the Chiefs as well. The Jets actually handed the Eagles their only defeat of the first 11 weeks of the season in a 20-14 victory on their home turf.
Yet, it seems that Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner suggested in a tweet that has since been removed that Hardman might have been the one to leak the game plans.

After spending his first four years in the NFL with the Chiefs, Hardman joined the Jets as a free agent last year. During his brief tenure with the Jets, he made just one catch for six yards before being traded back to the Chiefs. Notably, he caught the game-winning touchdown in the Super Bowl.
