Eagles Rumors: Howie Roseman planning another “big swing” this offseason?
To say Eagles GM Howie Roseman has been locked in this offseason would be an understatement.
After signing Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and a few other free agents, it appears as if Roseman could have a few more tricks up his sleeve.
Eagles trade coming?
Before ending the episode, @GeoffPMosher mentioned he believes there’s still a “big swing” coming from Howie Roseman. @InsideBirds

Expected, Howie isn’t done. #Eagles
While this is just speculation, I believe there is some merit to it. The Eagles have been rumored for weeks now to be attempting to trade Josh Sweat. Given the cap situation and the free agents still available, I feel like there isn’t a signing that would be considered a “big swing” type of move.
A trade feels like something bigger and more impactful. Who could that be for? I’m obviously not reporting anything, and I’m taking a bit of a swing here myself, but how’s this?
What if the Eagles packaged Sweat and some draft capital for recently franchise-tagged L’Jarius Sneed? Or even long-rumored trade target Patrick Surtain? I’d imagine Howie is looking aggressively to improve the defense and, most notably, the areas of need still, which consist of safety, linebacker, and corner.
Regardless, the Eagles will still have the rest of free agency, the draft, and trades for the next few months to improve the roster. And if you’re at all familiar with Howie’s game, the transactions typically don’t end until the start of the regular season, and heading into the trade deadline.
