Eagles Take Exposed: Philadelphia Sports Talk Host makes embarrassing claim on Howie Roseman

There’s plenty to talk about regarding the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason.

When Howie Roseman is your GM, you can expect a ton of different free-agent signings, trades, and even contract extensions.

Looking at this offseason objectively, I don’t think you can really argue that Roseman hasn’t done a pretty good job thus far. But, no surprise, one of the talk radio station hosts felt the need to create another narrative out of thin air.

Eagles GM doesn’t deserve a pass?

There’s so much wrong with John Kindade’s statement right there. First of all, he can’t build something sustainable? That’s just entirely false.

The Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2017 and, apart from a few outlier seasons, have consistently been in the playoffs. They were just on the brink of beating the Chiefs dynasty a little over a year ago, which would have brought another Lombardi trophy to Philadelphia.

Secondly, he needs to draft better? We’ll pretend the two future Hall of Farmers who just retired this offseason never existed, right? Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce have been around for a decade, keeping this Eagles franchise afloat. Pair those two with Brandon Graham, Howie’s first official draft pick as a GM. I can list the players off all day.

Howie drafted Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, Landon Dickerson, Jordan Mailata, and a few other noteworthy players who left in free agency and got paid big bucks due to career years in Philly. Guys like Miles Sanders and Isaac Seumalo, I can do this all day. Not to mention Jalen Carter, who many believe could be a franchise cornerstone.

Look, I’m not saying Howie is the best GM in the NFL at drafting because that wouldn’t be true. We all know some of the blunders he’s had in the draft. But to say he doesn’t draft well is false and doing Philly fans an incredible disservice considering Mr. Kincade’s platform.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but that doesn’t make this a good one by Kincade. It’s a lousy one and very pointless. What is the point of saying something like this? Seriously.

The fans want to talk about all the new players brought in and what moves could be made after getting this team back to the Super Bowl. Instead, he thought it was a good idea to come at one of the best GMs in football.
