Rhys Hoskins’ reign of terror on the New York Mets continues with a home run and 4 RBI day
Rhys Hoskins and the New York Mets continued their heated battle Saturday, with Hoskins again getting the best of his formal in-division rivals.
Hoskins, dealing with boos every time he stepped foot on the field went 3-for-3 from the plate with a walk, a two-run single in the first inning, and a two-run home run in the third inning off Luis Severino.

In the top of the seventh inning, Yohan Ramirez was ejected for throwing at Rhys Hoskins and as announcer Ron Darling indicated it was just too little too late to send a message. Rhys Hoskins
Hoskins finished the day with 4 RBIs and much like game one against the Brewers, he continued to mock the pathetic Mets and specifically Jeff McNeil.
On Opening Day, Hoskins slid hard into second base, causing Jeff McNeil to have a meltdown and the dugouts to empty.

Of course, as a Phillies fan, this is hilarious to watch. The Mets constantly antagonized Hoskins, hitting him with a pitch four times, one of which led to a legendary 31-second home run trot.
It’s amazing to see Rhys Hoskins not only playing baseball again but absolutely terrorizing the New York Mets in the Milwaukee’s opening series.
