WATCH: Aaron Donald says Eagles were his toughest matchup throughout his NFL career
There’s only one team in the NFL who managed to contain Aaron Donald throughout his NFL career — the Philadelphia Eagles. And he knows it.
During an appearance on Chris Long’s podcast “Green Light with Chris Long,” Long asked Donald if there was a team that always had a good plan for him. Donald didn’t hesitate with his answer.

“Philly,” Donald said when asked which team gave him fits. “I hated playing against Philly. Kelce, his little fast ass always ran full — he would snap the ball and run over right now and just, I’m like bro, ‘You got some good guards, let them work. You don’t gotta help them every time…. Every time I played the Eagles bro, I never really got no one-on-ones. I probably had like one or two during the game.”
In five career games against the Eagles, Donald didn’t record a single sack. The only other team to hold Donald without a sack in his career was the New York Jets, but they only played against him twice.
There’s a very good chance both Donald and Kelce get inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame the same year, assuming both are first-ballot HOFers. It would be fitting for the two best lineman of this generation to enter the Hall of Fame in the same year.
