Shocker: Feds clear Shohei Ohtani of any wrongdoing, basically suggesting Major League Baseball’s biggest Cash Cow is the most oblivious man to ever live
In a report that should surprise absolutely no one, federal authorities have come to an agreement that Shohei Ohtani had ZERO CLUE about his good friend and interpreter Ippei Mizuhara stole $4.5 MILLION DOLLARS from him to pay off illegal gambling debts.
Honestly, there was no shot in hell that Major League Baseball was going to “Pete Rose” the biggest superstar employee, Shoehei Ohtani so excuse me if I find any investigation done by the federal government, related to Ohtani or in general, to be complete bullshit.
Instead of being implicated by his interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara’s elaborate gambling scheme, TMZ Sports reported Wednesday that the federal investigation into the situation found that, shocker, Shohei Ohtani was completely innocent and had ZERO involvement.
On top of that, law enforcement determined that Ohtani was indeed the victim of fraud and his interpreter, Mizuhara embezzled millions of dollars from one of Ohtani’s accounts to cover an illegal gambling debt.
To be very clear: The feds are in agreement that Ohtani had no knowledge of Mizhuara’s said debt. The report adds that federal officials have concluded Ohtani did nothing wrong and that he has never had any association with either gambling or bookmaking. Ohtani has reportedly been completely cleared of any involvement.
Ippei Mizuhara is expected to be charged to the fullest extent of the law any second now.

If that is the case, then this is also true about Shohei Ohtani.
All of this basically means that Shohei might be the dumbest person on planet earth and was completely oblivious to the fact that the guy that he spent every second of the day with was gambling and losing millions of dollars on sports betting.
LOL.
Ohtani had ZERO CLUE that there was MILLIONS OF DOLLARS suddenly missing from his bank account. His good friend and colleague, Mizhuara was a rogue agent in the gambling scheme and all while having full control of Ohtani’s money, he was manipulating Shohei like a criminal mastermind – even as far as when the story broke and he did a full interview with ESPN.
I mean seriously, what are we doing here? It always amazes me that government officials think the general public is so stupid that they would believe a story like this. Do I personally care if Shohei Ohtani was gambling? Of course not but at the same time, don’t think I’m an idiot and can’t clearly understand what’s happening here.
(TMZ) Shohei Ohtani had no idea his translator was gambling millions of dollars, and the feds have concluded not only was the Dodger star NOT involved in the scheme, he was a victim of fraud … law enforcement sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ Sports.
Our sources say the feds, who launched an investigation last month, have concluded Mizuhara was lying — that Ohtani was completely in the dark over the gambling debt, and Mizuhara embezzled from one of Ohtani’s accounts without the pitcher’s knowledge.
Our sources say the feds have concluded Ohtani was not involved in any wrongdoing and has never had any association with gambling or bookmaking.
Yeah…that makes sense, right?
Well wait a second, how did Ippei MIzuhara get all of this money ($4.5 MILLION) out of Shohei Ohtani’s bank account without him knowing?
Duh you idiots! He managed to change the settings on Ohtani’s bank account so he would not receive push notifications or any information about the transactions!
What are you stupid or something?
(NY Times) Those briefed on the matter claim that prosecutors have uncovered evidence that Mizuhara may have stolen more money from Ohtani than the $4.5 million he was initially accused of pilfering, the people said. In particular, the authorities think they have evidence that Mizuhara was able to change the settings on Ohtani’s bank account so Ohtani would not receive alerts and confirmations about transactions, the three people said.
I guarantee that Rob Manfred and the Los Angeles Dodgers let out a collective sigh of relief that they were able to convince (and pay off) federal employees so that they would leave the premiere MLB Cash Cow alone.
As for Ippei Mizuhara, I hope this was all worth it. You’ll go down in history as the biggest fall guy the world has ever seen. Cheers to you, sir.
