WATCH: Boban misses free throws so crowd can enjoy free chicken

Boban Marjanović is a man of the people. Even during his time in Philadelphia, he was always adored by the fans.

He’s now playing for the Houston Rockets, and on Sunday night, he pulled one of the most selfless acts you’ll ever see on an NBA court.

As is the case with nearly every NBA team, if an opposing player misses two free throws in the second half, the whole stadium wins free food. For the LA Clippers, it’s free chicken nuggets from Chic-fil-A.

Boban — who’s not the best free throw shooter to begin with — missed his first attempt. And in classic Boban fashion, seeing the love for chicken in the eyes’ of the LA faithful, purposely missed his second attempt so everyone could get some free nugs.

They just don’t make ’em like Boban anymore. I can’t remember ever seeing an opposing player purposely miss free throws just so a bunch of fans could go get some free chicken nuggets.

That’s the stuff of legend right there.
