WATCH: Spencer Haywood congratulates Tobias Harris for leaping him on NBA scoring list; says Tobi is Hall of Fame bound

Well, this is one of the strangest videos I’ve seen this weekend. NBA legend and Hall of Famer Spencer Haywood took to Twitter on Sunday to congratulate Tobias Harris for leaping him on the all-time NBA scoring list.

Haywood not only congratulated Tobias on becoming 165th in all-time scoring, he also gave him a pre-congratulatory message for winning the NBA Finals this year and joining him in the NBA Hall of Fame.

Congratulating Harris for winning this year’s NBA Finals before the postseason even begins is crazy enough, but to say he’s going to be in the Hall of Fame one day? Don’t give the man hope like that, Spencer Haywood. Please.

I don’t think I need to sit here and type out why Tobias will not be in the NBA Hall of Fame when his career comes to an end. This is just a wild statement from Haywood, and I thought you all would enjoy watching it.
