Embarrassing Behavior: Pablo Torre’s statement on Joel Embiid and being a “Sixers fan” after Game 2 loss

Joel Embiid recorded 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists and was a +3 last night in the Sixers’ loss to the Knicks.

It was a game in which he was playing essentially on one knee and which was his eighth game back after two months off. So, obviously The Dan Le Batard Show needed to have the most important member of the Sixers media possible on their show.

Look, if any of you actually tune into The Dan Le Batard Show or, more specifically, Pablo Torre for your sporting fix, I don’t know what to tell you.

Apparently, Mr. Torre is a “Sixers” fan, even though in this clip below, he literally states he used to live in New York and was once a Knicks fan.

Pablo Torre on the Sixers and Joel Embiid

What a total disaster that video was. This dude is literally debating whether he’s a Knicks or Sixers fan. Should I mention I’ve never seen or heard of him before? His main point was that Joel Embiid needs to step up in a big game. How lazy of a take is that? That must have taken a lot of prep work to display on air.

I won’t list all the big games Embiid has stepped up in because I don’t need to. I’m just embarrassed that this guy is coming at the player who’s literally injured and did more than enough for his team to win last night. There’s just no shot Mr. Torre actually watched the game last night.

The best part is that, in the tweet’s caption, this fool is labeled a diehard Philadelphia 76ers fan.” So, shoutout to the social media team for the Dan Le Batard Show for that one. So while Torre claims he’s tired of being some “prophet”, I’m here to say I’m tired of all these morons attempting to talk about my favorite basketball team.
