Joel Embiid Empire State Building

Joel Embiid is banned from the Empire State Building but history proves the building itself is just a front-running fraud

Even the Empire State Building was throwing a hissy fit last night after the Philadelphia 76ers and Joel Embiid, who scored 50 points while playing on one leg with a mild case of Bell’s Palsy, beat the New York Knicks last night.

Tom Thibodeau cried to the media about officials last night, demands clarity, but was singing a different tune after Game 2 >>

How is a big chunk of cement and metal bitching about Game 3? Well for whatever reason, the building has their own social media account and tweets about stuff. After Embiid dominated New York City, the account tweeted that he Joel would be banned from the Empire State Building.

Empire State Building bans Joel Embiid…?

I guess we should state the obvious. A building having a social media account is beyond stupid. No one wants to hear from the Empire State Building or whatever intern is running that social media account trying to make it “cool” and “edgy”.

I have been adamantly against fast food chains or really any type business interacting with people on social media. It’s all corny and needs to end as quickly as possible.

On top of that, the Empire State Building literally lit up in Philadelphia Eagles colors last year after the Birds won the NFC Championship in 2023.

Empire State Building: Front Running Frauds

The fact of the matter is, the Empire State Building is a failed attempt at social media marketing and the building itself is overrated and according to New Yorkers, “a front-running fraud”.

Even New York Hates the Empire State Building

I will say, if we are going to get in a building pissing match on Twitter then we need our buildings here in Philadelphia to step up and start talking shit.

One Liberty Philadelphia hasn’t tweeted since COVID. Independence Hall, which I guess is considered a National Park these days also remained silent. That can’t happen.

Independence Hall is literally where the United States of America was founded. The Declaration of Independence was signed in that very building and Joel Embiid plays for the PHILADELPHIA 76ERS. Embarrassing effort from our own.

Note: The Comcast Buildings haven’t said a damn thing either but that was expected given the fact that the Sixers are trying to leave “Comcast Country” and build their own arena. That’s a silent protest if I’ve ever seen one, right?

Anyways – buildings having social media accounts is loser energy – even more so when they are talking about Joel Embiid and Philadelphia sports teams. That of course, only applies when they aren’t congratulating us like they did with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.
