WATCH: Anthony Edwards gives Phoenix Suns fans the DX Celly, an ode to future USA Olympics teammate Joel Embiid

Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Phoenix Suns 126-109 in Game 3 last night and Anthony Edwards continued his rise into elite status with a 36-point, nine rebound, and five assist performance. 

Anthony Edwards also broke out a celebration in Phoenix that here in Philadelphia, 76ers fans are very familiar with.

The Ant Man gave Suns fans the always classic Degeneration X “Suck It” celebration as the Timberwolves jumped out to a 19-point lead with under 3 minutes left to play.

Following the game, Anthony Edwards told reporters that he was attempting to get his center, Rudy Gobert to do it with him. Gobert did not, but I know for FACT that future Team USA teammate Joel Embiid would have joined Edwards in the celebration. 

Side Note: Of course Rudy Gobert (Team France) wouldn’t join Edwards >>

No word on if the NBA plans to fine Edwards. The league fined Joel Embiid $25K for the same exact celebration which was nonsense to begin with. Triple H did offer to help pay the fine.

The blowout win for the Timberwolves gave them a 3-0 series lead against the Phoenix Suns. 

As for the Philadelphia 76ers, they will host the New York Knicks in Game 4 at 1PM today in South Philadelphia looking to even the series 2-2.
