Charles Barkley issues warning to Knicks fans headed to Philly for Game 6, 76ers fans must rise to the occasion
TNT personality and former 76er Charles Barkley was fired up after his old team came back to defeat the Knicks in overtime last night. There have been a lot of discussions about fan turnout for the games in South Philly, but the Chuckster sees that changing for Game 6.
Charles Barkley let Knicks fans know that the Wells Fargo Center will not be a safe space for them come Thursday Night:

Let’s put it this way, I hope Chuck is right. New York fans have objectively taken over the Farg the last two games, which is unacceptable for a city that claims to have the best fans in the world.
At the same time though, I get fans in a blue collar town not wanting to spend half a week’s pay to go watch their team fold like lawn chairs in the first round. But with Tyrese Maxey and the boys actually showing some fight in an elimination game, I can see a potential shift happening among the Sixers fanbase.
We need the worst people in Philadelphia at this game. I need dirtbag, hoagie mouth, degenerate scumbags in the building ready to make some noise and, more importantly, make those New York rats regret making the trip to South Philly.
And with the 9pm start time, ticket prices will inevitably be lower, making the value proposition a lot easier to rationalize for those on the fence about attending a playoff game. Especially with this new, maniacal version of Mad Maxey.
Simply put, we need dogs at the Center tomorrow night. We got Kelly Oubre feeling like (and potentially drinking) dog water.

The point is, 76ers fans need to rise to this occasion. We asked this team to show us some fight, and they did. Even if you don’t buy a ticket, hop on the subway and wait outside the building with blunt weapons and gesture at Knicks fans menacingly as they enter.
Boo them, call their names, insult their mothers. I don’t care.
Just make them feel you. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
