Eagles Updates: Jersey numbers for 2024 rookie class revealed

Ahead of the Eagles’ first rookie minicamp practice, jersey numbers were revealed for the 2024 draft class:

• CB Quinyon Mitchell — #30
• CB Cooper DeJean — #33
• OLB Jalyx Hunt — #58
• RB Will Shipley — #39
• WR Ainias Smith — #82
• LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. — #54
• G Trevor Keegan — #79
• WR Johnny Wilson — #89
• C/G Dylan McMahon — #63

I’m personally not a fan of cornerbacks wearing 30s, but #20 and #25 are the only numbers available in the 20s, which are unofficially retired by Brian Dawkins and LeSean McCoy, respectively.

The most notable number is Jeremiah Trotter Jr. getting his father’s old number, #54. Classy move by the Eagles.

Philadelphia is among the first teams to hold their rookie minicamp this weekend. Friday’s practice will be the first opportunity to see the new guys in action as preparations for next season begin.
