Quinyon Mitchell on his rookie year goals: “I want to win a Super Bowl”
First-round CB Quinyon Mitchell has set lofty expectations for his rookie year in the NFL.
During an appearance on Sports Radio 94WIP’s morning show, Mitchell was asked about his goals in 2024 and what he hopes to achieve in Philadelphia.
Quinyon Mitchell: “Year one, I just want to win a Super Bowl. I feel like we got the players on this team, the coaching staff to do it so we just got to go out and execute and grind every day.”

That’s what we like to hear in Philadelphia, even from a rookie, and he isn’t off base. The Eagles are two years removed from a Super Bowl loss to Kansas City and are dying to get back.
After starting the year 10-1, the Eagles crumbled down the stretch (to put it lightly) and got blown out by Baker Mayfield in the Wild Card Round.
Their 30th-ranked secondary was a big reason why, and GM Howie Roseman sought to rectify those issues by bringing back CJ Gardner-Johnson and investing draft capital in top cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.
It’s now Vic Fangio’s responsibility to put these players in the best position to succeed. From a strictly mental standpoint, you couldn’t ask for more from your young players.
