Cooper DeJean crushing Miller Lite’s at a Phillies game? I mean, it really doesn’t get any better than that right?

I bet the majority of people just assumed he was another kid from Delco down at The Bank watching The Fightins – talk about a perfect fit.

Honestly I’m just happy to see the next generation of Eagles stars watching the Phillies play baseball instead of the Philadelphia 76ers. Let the boys watch a well-run machine that is the Phillies and take in the greatness of Zack Wheeler, Aaron Nola, and Bryce Harper.

Witness a sold out crowd of 44,507 fans watch the best team in Major League Baseball. Then take all of that and carry it into the 2024-25 NFL season.

Philly is a baseball city. The Liberty Line is a baseball website. When you can blend in a healthy dose of Eagles players into the mix, it simply doesn’t get any better.

Zack Wheeler K’d six over 7.1 innings of work and the Phillies continued their dominance over the NL East with a 4-2 victory over the lowly Nationals on last night.

The Phillies needed just 2 hours, 15 minutes in front of a jam-packed crowd at The Bank to improve to 32-14 on the season – the best record in baseball.

Alec Bohm and Brandon Marsh each had RBI doubles off Nats’ starting pitcher Jake Irvin (2-4). Brandon Marsh scored on a wild pitch and Kyle Schwarber added an RBI groundout.

Tonight, the Nationals will send MacKenzie Gore (2-4, 3.38 ERA) to the mound against Cristopher Sánchez (2-3, 3.43).
