Cosmi’s Deli unveils new ‘Big Dom Cugine’ sandwich and it is beautiful

Stop everything you’re doing right now. The Eagles’ Big Dom has put together a sandwich in collaboration with Cosmi’s Deli in South Philly, and the results look fantastic.

The Big Dom Cugine has catapulted to the top of my must-try sandwich list:

South Philly’s “Cosmi’s Deli” is now selling a signature sandwich concocted by Big Dom, the “BIG DOM CUGINE”, with proceeds benefitting @eaglesautism.

The sandwich features:

• Prosciutto di Parma
• Imported Mortadella

First off, ignore the typo. That’s meant to read “fresh burrata.” And, as you can see, this sangweech is absolutely loaded with it.

As The Liberty Line’s resident Sandwich Commentator, I simply had to write about this beautiful creation. It’s truly a perfect sandwich. No gimmicks, just quality ingredients put together to make something I would 100% eat.

They point it out in the video, but the razor-thin slices of mortadella and prosciutto elevate the sandwich to a whole new level. Only the best for Big Dom.

This isn’t even a paid ad for Cosmi’s, though with my glowing review it probably should be. Granted, I haven’t even eaten the sandwich yet, but I’m certainly going to in the near future.

Plus, the proceeds from the sandwich go to support the Eagles Autism Foundation. Big Dom is a big guy with an even bigger heart. Combine that with his impeccable taste in sandwiches, and it’s clear to see why he’s so beloved in this city and within the Eagles organization.
