Senior drops Nick Castellanos signature quote in yearbook to avoid saying something nice about his time in high school
Listen, I completely understand that the Nick Castellanos “meme” jumped the shark years ago, but high school senior Wyatt Baumeyer deserves a little credit for this one.
Not exactly sure where this came from but regardless, Wyatt Baumeyer appears to be graduating high school and instead of saying something nice about “NT” he decided to completely avoid the question and drop the signature Nick Castellanos line in his yearbook quote.

Update: It appears that Wyatt is a 2024 graduate of New Trier and will be heading to Arizona State University to “continue his education”.
(Wyatt, make sure skip class and get to a pool party at Maya Day Club in Scottsdale ASAP)
Can’t hate on that. We’ve all been in high school and suffered through the final weeks of the school year after already being accepted into college. It’s one of the most pointless couple months of anyone’s lifetime and the yearbook along with all of the corny questions and photos is the absolute worst.
One critique would have to be the “as” in the quote. Not sure if Wyatt dropped the ball there or it was one of the yearbook editors but the point still stands – it’s a good quote to use in this situation specifically.
Speaking of Nick Castellanos, the Phillies’ outfielder finally showed signs of life in San Francisco yesterday in the Phillies 6-1 win over the Giants.
Castellanos guided the Phillies to put an end to their season-high 3-game losing streak along with a 9-game losing streak at Oracle Park dating back three seasons. Casty notched a single, double, and a home run, falling a triple short of completing the cycle. He had a home run and 2 RBI.
Castellanos, known for long cold spells during the MLB season is in the midst of an all-timer this year. He’s batting just .208 with seven home runs and 24 RBI with a .604 OPS.
Things do tend to get better for the Phillies and Nick Castellanos once the calendar month flips to June. Over his last seven games, he’s batting .258 with three home runs and five RBI.
In June 2023, Nick Castellanos hit .351 with five home runs, and 21 RBI’s in 24 games.
The Phillies are 6-4 over their last 10 games but overall, have been dominant this season. They are 39-18 while jumping out to a six game lead in the NL East standings over the Atlanta Braves.
