WATCH: All hell broke loose as Joel Embiid joined the set of the UEFA Champions League Final pregame show
Joel Embiid made a guest appearance on CBS Sports’ coverage of the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Embiid, a big Real Madrid fan joined Kate Abdo, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, and Micah Richards and all hell broke loose on set.

Joel Embiid Injury Update
In the midst of all the chaos Embiid did provide a quick update on his face and knee, which were both all jacked up in the NBA playoffs.
“I feel great. I feel much better with the knee and the face. It’s much better.” [Joel Embiid]
Always great to see Embiid happy. The 2024 Olympics begin on July 26th from Paris and Embiid is slated to join Team USA – which given the health update, it looks like he fully intends on playing.
Side Note: So many jokes about Embiid “finally making it to a final” and I guess that’s funny but once the Philadelphia 76ers finally build a championship roster around the big fella, we’ll see who’s laughing.
Real Madrid went on to win 2-0 to clinch a record 15th Champions League title and their sixth in the last ten years.
Dani Carvajal connected on a header in the 74th minute off a corner delivery from teammate Toni Kroos. Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid then put the game on ice with an 83rd minute goal after Borussia Dortmund gave possession away deep in their own half of the pitch.
