WATCH: ‘Fake Tough Guy’ Tommy Pham gets heated after being thrown out at home in White Sox 6-3 loss to the Brewers

Chicago White Sox outfielder Tommy Pham needed to be restrained following an incident at home plate during Sunday’s road game against the Milwaukee Brewers.  

The White Sox were losing 4-3 in the top of the eighth inning but had runners on second and third with one out. With an opportunity to tie the game, Corey Julks flew out to left field. Pham, on third, attempted to tag up and score but was unsuccessful, resulting in an inning-ending double play. 

Brewers catcher William Contreras and reliever Enoli Paredes celebrated the double play, which had Tommy Pham HEATED.

Pham had to be restrained by home plate umpire Edwin Jimenez and was pushed away 

Okay so obviously, when you watch that video, Tommy Pham is running on the infield grass and then he wants to get mad at Contreras? Why?

My brother…you are tagging from third, you need to be taking a direct line to the plate, instead you’re zig-zagging, running home like me at 3 AM after a night out in Fishtown. 

There’s no chance that you can be mad while you’re running on the grass and going out of your way to run into the catcher while tagging from third base. 

That has “fake tough guy” written all over it and the umpire “holding him back” was just icing on the cake. 

Side Note: The announcer. Jesus Christ dude. Get a grip. 

To make matters worse, Tommy Pham brought his “fake tough guy” routine into the clubhouse and told reporters that there was a reason he does “all kind of fighting in the offseason” because Pham is “prepared to fuck somebody up”.

Yeah. Okay, Tommy Pham. The tape says otherwise. Maybe during the offseason you should focus on running the bases and completing a successful tag from third when your team is down a run and you have the opportunity to tie the game?

That seems to be more productive than pretending you’re a UFC Fighter only to be held back by umpire Enoli fucking Paredes. 

Give me a break. 

Honestly, the Milwaukee Brewers need to throw at Tommy Pham every time he steps up to the plate for the remainder of the season.

The Brew Crew isn’t a team that messes around. They have been fighting and arguing with every opposing team that steps foot in American Family Field all season long.
