95 Percent New: Jalen Hurts reveals details about the Philadelphia Eagles new offense in 2024

Everyone knows by now that this offseason for the Philadelphia Eagles has been highlighted by the changes in the coaching staff and today, Jalen Hurts spoke about Kellen Moore’s new playbook and what fans can expect in 2024.

Hurts said that their new offensive coordinator is introducing an entirely new and different scheme than the one before – which I think we can all agree is the best news ever.

“This whole offseason has been about learning. You get to a point where you feel comfortable with this, but that time comes when you can rep it, rep it, rep it later on, but right now, it’s been a lot of new inventory — the majority of it, probably 95 percent of it being new, it’s just been that process. And it’s been a fun process because you get to see what works for other people. The number of coaches I’ve had since I’ve been here, I’ve taken in a lot of new knowledge and new understanding.”

Hurts mentioned that they are still in the early stages of implementing the new offense and getting accustomed to the preferences of Moore and the new quarterback’s coach, Doug Nussmeier.

However, he is optimistic about the progress and believes the Eagles are on the right track.
