Eagles Trade Rumors: Patriots star pass rusher listed amongst players most likely to be dealt and linked to Philadelphia heading into the 2024 season
Bleacher Report recently put together a list of players each team should consider trading before the 2024 season. While this list is purely speculation, it’s an intriguing look at a potential star linebacker that Eagles GM Howie Roseman could have his eyes all over.
With the new regime in New England and a team that doesn’t project to win many games, it only makes sense that ninth-year edge-rusher Matt Judon was the player listed under the Patriots. It’s also worth noting that Judon has been skipping voluntary workouts in search of a new contract.

At 31, Judon racked up 28 sacks between 2021 and 2022, which occurred during a stretch of four straight trips to the Pro Bowl. However, he was sidelined for thirteen games last season due to tearing his bicep. Judon is slated to make $6.5 million this year, and according to Mike Reiss of ESPN, an extension remains in the cards, and it’s unlikely he will play under his current deal.
This situation is right up the Eagles GM’s alley. He tends to make trades as the season approaches, especially for disgruntled players in the final years of their deals. Again, while this is all merely speculation, it’s certainly a situation to keep our eyes on.
