Jayson Tatum NBA Finals Speech

Cringeworthy: Jayson Tatum attempts to re-create iconic NBA moments in a poorly executed celebration script following Celtics Game 5 finals win

For whatever reason, Jayson Tatum decided to celebrate winning the NBA Finals by reminding Boston Celtics fans what Kevin Garnett did 16 years earlier.

In what was definitely a staged, pre-planned moment, Tatum put his hands on his head and yelled out “We did it!” after the Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks 106-88 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday.

Jayson Tatum…lol

Holy shit. First this dude was texting the late Kobe Bryant and now he’s trying to pull off a clearly scripted (and very bad) recreation of Kevin Garnett from the last time those freaks in Boston won an NBA Championship.

Serious question:

If you’re teammates with Jayson Tatum you have to bring up how corny this was right? At the very least talk some shit when you’re drunk during the parade?

Serious question 2:

If you’re a Celtics fan, you have to acknowledge how Jayson Tatum belongs in the Boston Pride Parade after this rather than at the Championship one, right? RIGHT?!

In fact, they should combine the two and all parade down the streets of Boston together. Personally, I think that’s the only possible solution to all of this.

Oh and by the way, this Jayson Tatum photo was staged too. Shame on the Dallas Mavericks for allowing this moment to happen.

As Joel Embiid said last week, “I can’t stand them. I hate Boston.”

God damnit Jayson Tatum. You truly are the worst.
